Loyalist Township Parks and Recreation Master Plan

This ten-year plan addressed all municipal parks and recreation services, the delivery system and implementation of recommendations. The project included a building conditions assessment of a Township-serving indoor recreation centre and parks buildings in anticipation of facility improvements and expansion, and outdoor facility and parks/trails requirements. Community engagement included random telephone and on-line surveys of residents, surveys of volunteer program/user groups and realtors, and focus groups with a variety of community interests and population groups, in a largely rural setting with several settlement areas.
