County of Perth Age-Friendly Plan

Mehak, Kelly teamed with strategic planners to develop an age-friendly plan for the County and its four member municipalities. The Plan addressed needed improvements to accommodate current and future older adults residents in each of the WHO’s eight dimensions of an age-friendly community. A series of consultation events was conducted with residents and service providers/community groups including health, programming/activity, faith-based organizations, housing, and social services. Recommendations were developed for each of the member municipalities and the County.
